Renewal forms begin to get sent out soon after the end of the current tax year which is 5th April .
My letter said my payments until April may change and as i was one of the people who got this extra payment my normal weekly payments have reduced by £12 ish .
Even though your son has now turned 18 you will still receive the renewal forms . You must remember to fill them in and send them back (or renew over the telephone) as this finalises you entitlement for last year so very VERY important. The loopy one has gone :j0 -
i have just emigrated to spain also so i dont know if the forms will be redirected. I phoned them before i was moving and they said on the phone it would automatically stop by his 19th birthday or 31st july - whichever was sooner so not to worry about renewal forms!!!!!
this is what i dont understand - they say so many different things its hard to know what to do. I did phone a few weeeks back and say i was moving and son leaving school to go to uni and they said that would be fine as it would stop anyway but didnt say when so actually never gt post redirected for more than a month!!

I got an extra CTC payment today .... my usual went in on Tuesday as normal, then today I have an extra £85.47. I got a letter back in January about possible extra payments .... I assume this must be it? I'll see if they amend my usual amount on Tuesday.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Hi I got the letter but no extra payment and have had no new amount letter (I'm currently receiving baby element so know it will change). Haven't got a clue how much I'll get this month but I know it will be less than it should be as my income last year was £2k less than the prior and review pack isn't out to me yet. Never had this happen before so no idea what they will do - will they owe me money for once? Anyone had a new amount letter?Taking baby-steps :beer:0

The new awards do not begin until 6th April.
If you can find your most recent award notice it will tell you on that how much your run on payments from 6th April will be . These run on payments are only provisional payments and may well change once your renewal is complete. The loopy one has gone :j0
