I had the letter but no extra payment.New to this site so please my excuse dumbness.
I have my sealed pot and I WILL save some money this year.Aiming for £4000 -
My extra payment was 10 days ago, and it was £2 above my normal payment, and the following payment was 20p less than the normal payment, so I assume that it'll be 20p less for all other payments till the end of the year to make up for the extra £2.0

I didnt get the letter but did receive the extra payment in Oct and now lower payments. Got 2 payments in 1 day, extra payment was £152 which isnt anything like my normal payment now getting £7 less. I dont have the disabilty element on mine either. Do you think this is the same thing or should i phone them up to ask.:cool:0

I got the letter and I recive the disability element as my daughter has Downs Syndrome, my payments have gone down £10 a week0

I got an extra payment . I dont receive any disability premium though....so I dont think the extra payments relate to that.
I had a child leave school in June last year and my payments got a bit mixed up around the end of August though....
Anyone else who got the extra payment have a child finish school recently ?The loopy one has gone :j0 -

Until April as far as the letter states .The loopy one has gone :j0 -
Hi all, seems january wasnt a one off. I received a letter today dated 23/02/11 (took a while to get here
) and it says between now and end of march i may receive a payment. Seems a bit silly as my payments for the next year start in April so what are they up to? I have something like 4 weeks til my new tax year starts so i cant see a payment happening and if it does its kind of pointless. I do wonder if previous posters are right with the idea that if we get a one off payment and our payments are reduced, we wont really look into it if the new tax year matches the reduced amount at the end of last year. Could it be the government are using psychology to prevent fallout?
