  • Sal,
what an awful time of year for that to happen, cross my fingers arms and legs that they don't do that to us right now, as I already budgeted to use my tax credits towards cost of christmas dinner, suppose if they do could have pigs without blankets and bernard mathews turkey drummer though :rotfl:
Happy Christmas I hope it hasn't hit your finances too hard hun xx

May good luck be your friend in whatever you do and may trouble be always a stranger to you.

  • great another mess the hmrc are going to create i bet we'll all be having the help i had over payments for the sys update but they continued to pay the normal rate and i now owe money higher than normal and i couldnt stop it as their systems were down!! and no one knew their bum form butter any better than they do now!! threads!!
  • I've received this letter this morning. It does seem a bit odd that there is no indication of dates or amounts.
    It seems quite pointless really

i've got this letter too!i know a few other people that have recieved it, but i know more people that HAVEN'T!!

Its very, very strange as tax credits NEVER inform you when they are putting an extra payment in the bank!I've not had a change of circumstances etc
  • Yup I got an extra payment too.

Don't pretend to understand how they do their calculations but it's always nice to have a bit extra in the bank :D

I still havent received a letter regarding any change to my payments so im still thinking it isnt everybody.
As regards to them sending them alphabetically I doubt it cos im H which is fairly early in the alphabet and I havent got anything.
Receive mine on a wednesday so ill post if I have any extra in my account.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time - I think I've forgotten this before.
