I have no idea sorry just found the info, sure if you email or ring them they will tell you, most companies don't charge for that sort of thing
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Hi

I regularly buy things without instructions, the companies do not normally have a problem with either emailing you the instruction (via attachment) or through the post.
My latest was a dual fuel cooker - Hotpoint had no probs with emailing me the instruction manual even though it is not a model that is available anymore!
So if anyone else out there needs instructions - contact the peeps that made it ;)

    Hope that helps someone:D

Just wanted to say thanks to meadowcat. I've been given a Hinari breadmaker weeks ago but haven't dared try work out how to use it as don't have the instruction book, and am too lazy to ring up to see if they'll send me one. I'm finally going to give it a try following your recipe and instructions.I think I have a different one to you as it doesn't really have different settings just standard, quick, french, and sweet from what I remember but I figure if I shove it on standard that's probably going to do the same thing. Will go shopping for ingredients tonight!

Bought this BM because it seemed the cheapest and most reasonable one at the time but I've never seemed to be able to make a decent loaf with it consistently so I sort of lost interest in it.

Now I'm becoming a more active member of OS I would like to start using it again so anyone got any advice please?

There are BM clubs for other brands so if there are any other Hinari BM owners out there we could start one too?

I have just got rid of my hinari BM but while I had it it was great and I had it 4 years :D

as I could not find another hinari I got a different one but I cant remember what it is at the moment

    Hi All,

My mother has given me her breadmaker as she didn't use it and has no space to store it.

I've cheated and used a shop bought packet mix which came out fine.

Just wondered what the best yeast to use is, i've bought a couple of bags of the asda strong bread flour but i'm unsure of the quantity to use and which yeast. And do i need to add anything else to the mix?

sorry for asking but they isn't a recipe book with the maker, Its a 1.5lb maker if that helps.

    Thanks alot

    Hi maliah,

According to my Morphy Richards instructions the recipes are quite specific to each machine so you would probably be better to use a recipe specifically for the Hinari breadmaker.

To give you some idea of what you'll need here's the recipe I use for the basic 2lb loaf in the MR:

1 and a half cups of water (lukewarm)
4tbs milk powder (asda own brand)
    4tbs sunflower oil (flora)
2 and a half tbs sugar
1 and a half teasps salt
2 cups of strong bread flour (asda)
2 cups of value plain flour (asda)
half a cup of seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame and linseed)
1 and a quarter teasps of fast action yeast (tesco own brand)

There are a couple of recipes for a Hinari breadmaker on this earlier thread:
