    i bought a reduced to 50p book yesterday in poundstetcher/instore its called Making Candles and Potpouri. if this is any help. rrp on back is £10 in back cover. They also had alot of their books reduced again! got some for 10p even.

    Just thought id do a quick updatie type thing! .... Ive popped into town and ive bought some bath bomb minis 3 different shapes in superdrug for 39p each ...and a glitter lip balm for 59p and a mini body spray for 69p ... so thats a start for my DDs hampers!

    i had brought lots of small art thing for my son this year ... pencils, colouring pencils,paint pencils,paper,colouring books,mini paint by numbers ect
    but when i wrapped it up it looked like nothing so i shall get one of those card board storage boxes and arrange it on some crumpled tissue paper put the top of of the box on the back and wrap it with some of that crinkly clear stuff. So thanks again for the idea x

    Foot massager (not shown) – freebie from a magazine
    Want to get a picture frame and a pic of the kids, and maybe something else to fill it out

    Leather picture frame – bought in sales last year - £1 (put in pic of kids)

    Very nice hampers Wanty, I have all the bits just need some hampers to put them in.

    I have a good idea to share!!! :) in tesco's they have tesco value chocolate assortment boxes for 98p. they are lovely looking chocs but box is rubbish!!! so divide them into cello xmas bags or pretty box for family hampers!!!! :j I have used 2 boxes and divided them up into 5 lots :) hope this helps some one!

  • Thanks for the inspiration.

    I have been acumulating stuff for hampers but have been a little afraid of actually doing it. I got a couple of good wicker baskets at a car boot at the weekend for 10p each so have got off to a good start with the packaging.

    I am going to do one for each of the kids and for my Mum. I may also do one for OH.

    Also Asda are doing super cook christmas tree decoration kits 2 for £3 makes 12 a box great for the kids to make for grandparents etc also if you have Huma beads or the like let them make coasters, tree decs etc as gifts lots of ideas online and grandparents love homemade things from children!!! :)
