WOW - Your hampers look fab!! I have one elderly relative i never know what to get but she is so fussy on food so i had discounted 'hampers' but i think i will do her a non food one - they look well cool and much more expensive than they cost you - plus the thought that has gone into them will be so appreciated.

Books for hampers- as per my post on grabit - poundstretcher have hardback books for 1 gbp and soft backs for 20p authors like rosalind pilcher (sp?) danielle steel, ian rankin and loads of other authors that i recognized. Would be excellent for hampers!!

Where do you get the baskets from?

I've done this years shopping but am going to do hampers next year and birthdays

Mine were from instore, or poundstrecher depending on where you live.

I made a post in a thread on here showing pics of them all, I will get the link of the thread in a minute.

EDIT: link for the hampers http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=288688

    They look great.:T
I saw a basket set in homebargains today for £3.99 for 3 different sized baskets.
Think they were supposed to be bathroom sets but they would be perfect for your hampers.

No I don't mind at all, thats why I put them up. I of all people know what it is like to need a bit of inspiration to think of prezzies. Glad it could help you :)
