    way to go wanty :)

Yeah, I have actually really enjoyed making them to tell you the truth, rather than just seeing something in a shop and thinking, oh I'll get that. I wish I could make them for everyone :j

maybe it can be my new tradition. everyone gets a wanty box for christmas :D

    They are fab Wanty:T

    So personal and thoughtful!

Don't know about everyone else, but this whole 'Hamper on a budget' is soooo much fun! Makes you really think about the person and what they like! I will be doing them this year, and after years of spending far too much on 'pop in and grab' gifts, I hope they actually appreciate it!

Oh and today, eldest found my freebie hamper boxes I was gonna use for the girls and said she would rather have that than a stocking .... 'cos you can fit more in it :rotfl: Then she said, don't spend money on a stocking, knit a mini Christmas sack and put our initials on it ... gotta love her hey:rotfl: :rotfl:

Now, just have to get some knitting needles and wool!

Have also found a pretty little box today, will decorate it and then personalise a little bauble (sp?) for friends baby due in the new year, will do one for her every year;)
I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....

How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!

I thunk I've made you think for a minute!

What I did last year for my teenage nieces was buy three pairs of those long stripy socks - I think they were about £5 for three pairs from BHS, reduced, roll up one and stuff it in the toe of the other and then filled it with my cheap gifts. They loved them, I had very excited thank you letters from all of them.

The trouble is now thinking up something different for this year.

    Wanty, the hampers are fantastic!
