Pothole has more than just damaged my car

Didn't need saying though. To counter: Would rather push a Ford than drive a Vauxhall. Rust is lighter than carbon fibre.
Glad i don't drive either
I don't use a reliability guide when buying a car. It's all creamed over by people believing they've got an uber relaible car.If Adam and Eve were created first
.Does that mean we are all inbred0 -
Why are people so intent on making it sound like I drove at 7 billion miles an hour over the grand canyon? Sheesh, I DID slow down for the pothole, obviously all of you wouldn't mind someone forcing you to slow down to first gear for this.
If first gear speed was appropriate for the poor road conditions that you were well aware of, then yes.
But of course I care for my car.0 -

I care for my car too and that comment slips into defamation mate. However it's not right that a service* provided by the local government is not carried out correctly risking my property and then saying I have no right for recompense of the (to me) massive financial loss because of it.
*already funded by the tax payer0 -
Dan, as i've said on here and i've now spoke to the person involved with the same kind of issue that they got nothing for it. The fact you knew about it before so much so to complain about it three times goes against you more than for, as you knowing about it and the possible damage it would cause and then driving into it does make you look about silly dont you think.
For example if you bought a cake, found the cake was mouldy and complained about it....you wouldn't then go and eat it would you? You would avoid it0 -

Behave
Prime statement of the blame culture the UK has adopted
You have a responsibilty too. You knew it was there as you've reported it 3 times. You should have taken the bump at an appropriate speed to ensure the safety of you and your car.
Who cares about idiots behind. You've found out the hard way and now want to blame everyone elseIf Adam and Eve were created first

Not at all, it is all factual, you maybe don't like it, but I stand by it.
If you are daft enough to drive over a known pothole at a speed that damages your car, then I am sorry, I don't have any sympathy for your self inflicted problem.0 -
And what if that cake was the only food for the next 3 months? That's an extreme example, but I need to use a car because the travel I make with said car is much cheaper over the year for me personally than using public transport and this route provides me with the cheapest and overall safest route compared to other options such as cycling due to poor health meaning that would probably kill me before I could save up for a Land Rover to deal with the bumps and potholes.0

Went over a trench, not a pothole to give it a better description, it's perpendicular to the direction of travel and is deep enough to seat both of my front wheels in it, at the time of the incident. It's a main road, the shortest, cheapest, quickest route by far. Thousands of other cars use it, I was just unlucky to be the first car to get damaged from it.
So your car was the first and only car out of thousands to be damaged by this 'trench'.
What was different about your car from every one of the thousands that passed over it without damage?0
