That's mine too! It's half price on Amazon and in the Argos sale at the moment. It's no overstatement to say that I'm in love with my breadmaker!!

Morphy Richards do a white version (coolwall) and a stainless steel version. Not too sure about any other differences, I'm afraid

I have the stainless steel one btw and yes, it does luuuurrrrvely pizza dough

I have the white one. As far as I can see the difference are:

    White one:

long and deep so takes less space on worktop

    cool exterior walls (because plastic)

but traditional paddle makes hole in bottom of loaf

    steel one:

wider and less deep, so takes slightly more space on worktop

walls become hot during use (but only in same way as slow cooker does)

paddle drops down before baking so doesn;t leave hole in bread.

Both do same programmes including pizza dough!

Personally I love my white one and wouldn't upgrade just for few diffs above, BUT, if I were buying one new now I'd prob go with Argos £34.99 offer on steel one

had my first go at the pizza dough in the BM, but when i rolled it out to make the pizza, i couldn't get it thin enough....its dead deep!!

how do i get it to be really thin without it tearing and getting holes in?

Thanks everyone for your help - AnnieC - the one you mention on offer in Argos is the one I fancy now. On the argos page though it doesn't actually tell you that it's Morphy Richards and you can't see from the picture - are you fairly certain that it is? thanks in advance

Roll it more - it does get there eventually. Took me ages, but was worth it

Does anyone want to buy my MR Fastbake - it's a waste of time trying to make Gluten Free bread for the OH with it.
I'm going to have to get the Panasonic.

How very strange - I only just noticed that they don't explicitly call it by the MR brand!!

But if you look again and click on the 'enlarge this image' link, and then look closely (and squint a bit :D ) then you can see the MR fastbake logo on the lower right hand corner of the machine....
