How strange. Our blade hasn't stuck once

Working my way through a white loaf with sesame seeds at the moment which is still warm :D Asked DH not to put too many seeds in it because of DS and he won't eat it anyway as 'it has seeds in it' (which you can hardly see).

    Next time more seeds :D

Im getting REALLY hacked off with the blade always staying in the bottom of the loaf. Every single time this has happened.

Is yours the model with the lying-down-blade Lynz? Mine isn't, so I accept the hole as a fact of life, but I would have thought the new blade would resolve that.

I just wish I could work out the optimum time for removing the bread from the tin without pulling the blade out too. It's not so much a hole in the loaf but a split in two most times.

luckily I am using the bread to dip in HM soup at the moment, so it's working out OK with the holes in...... :T

We get the tin out and leave it on the side for about 10 minutes then tip it upside down and bang it and the loaf falls out. It does have a little hole in the middle where the blade was.

(Just in case thats any help to anyone)

Lots of problems overall I know with customer service helplines etc. However, I lost the little spoon measuring thingys for my MR Fastbake machine. When I rang the helpline listed on the leaflets that came with my BM yesterday, a nice lady called Becky answered, telling me that I could buy new ones for £2.58 inc postage & packing and will arrive in 5-7 days. And no long wait on the phone with rubbish music, answered straight away. We should flag up good CS as well as slag off bad, i think? I await arrival of the little measuring spoons thingys, but I think they will arrive within 5-7 days as Becky said - and I am usually very sceptical by nature. have others rang this helpline?

I have: my original bread maker turned all the electricity off at random! I called them and they sent a new one out which arrived in a few days, I was really very chuffed :D

Anyone tried any wheat free bread? I want to make some bread for a friend of mine who can't eat wheat and misses bread ............ especially as we were baking a seeded white when she came round which seemed a bit cruel ;)

Can you just subsitute another type of flour do you think? She can have yeast etc. just not wheat. If so which type of flour is best?

I tried doing a recipe search on here but only found a link to a Delia page and no recipes there for basic wheat free bread made with a bread maker. Am a very novice cook having hated it for years so am rubbish at adapting anything for myself :o

    Hi november,

I haven't tried wheat free bread, but I had a look on google and there seem to be quite a few recipes for breadmakers there: wheat free bread recipes
