what does her working in asda have to do with anything?0

Yeah I get you, like I said the abruptness of decide now or don't come is what would of annoyed me, when as you said you could have spoke to hubby tonight afterall she wasn't leaving to go to asda there and then.
I wonder if because it is something you have always done (gone to them boxing day) that her nose was a bit put out when this year you said you don't know yet, anyway nowt as weird as folk I hope you manage to enjoy your christmas x
No she wasn't put out at all! I just think because I said I didn't know, she thought 'phew!' about not having to buy, cook and play hostess and said ok leave it for this year.
Believe me, I know what she's like lol
This is someone who asked us all to go to a BBQ at their house but would want £5 a head. Until I text asking her if she was taking the pish.
And this is someone who moaned about organising a hen night for me, and got absolutely hammered and came home after an hour and a half.tinktinktinkerbell wrote: »what does her working in asda have to do with anything?
The buffet food would be bought from Asda, so why the rush to know today and buy tomorrow?Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Hi,
I'll be having a veggie lasagne, made about June/July, carefully removed from the freezer on Christmas Eve to defrost.
Then zapped in the 'ding', baked potato, pickled onions, lush.0 -
Possibly your aunt was gracefully giving you a get-out-clause, sensing that you were laying the groundwork for a refusal or equally possibly she herself was gratefully seizing this opportunity to spend boxing day without you.0

Of course they can.
I just wouldn't invite people to my house, put them on the spot and need an answer there and then or it wasn't going to happen, that's all.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
