    Hi All
I had a loan that I had planned to pay off next year through this challenge. However, I got some money given to me as part of the will of a relative who died recently. I have debated for ages about what to do with this money but finally decided that I should pay off this loan. As a result I have paid off £8000 in full and am totally free of short/medium term debt:j:j:j - all I have left to tackle is the mortgage:D.

Well done to everyone on th OPs this month and thanks again to jwil for setting up this challenge. It is going to be really nice (not to mention unusual) that I am not allocating a good portion of my wages to debt repayment.

    Well done Allie ! :T:T

Thanks for the updates everyone, and well done to everyone who's made their target :T:T I don't have a chance of making mine, but it gives me a nice glow to see everyone else doing so well. :)

We're not doing too bad this month - around £27k, though that has been bumped up by a couple of large payments. Well done everyone!

Excellent - only another £10k to hit our half million mark then!

I bought my first Christmas present the other day. Feeling very virtuous....
