Hi I came accross the info about being a mystery shopper just today and have so far applied to two companies. I am a stay at home mum and was looking for something to do on a part time basis. Does anyone have any advice for me? So far I have contacted retail eyes and gap, is there anyone else I should contact?

Hi mama7 just to be aware cos I didn't know this until I tried to go for a burger place job with gap that you can't take anyone else with you, not even children or babies or might not getting paid so it rules me out of them unless someone can have LO.
Sign up with as many places as you can for a good choice of jobs.

Have you tried emailing Sam Slater? I've found her to be pretty good at responding to emails. I'm at work so don't have her contacts to hand, but can get them for you if needed.

Yep! She's the one who is ignoring me :(

What is Service Science and Mystery Customer Evaluation like? Is work regular for them? Should I add join them too? Thanks
  • Hello all, I have been using the TNS VAS system nd got login details for Sassie last week but whenever I try it the county and region dropdown boxes are empty on the job board.

I can get jobs on VAs but not Sassie. Any ideas?

    Cheers - Joe

  • Couple of random questions.

Has anyone else had even more proof reading queries from RE than usual in the last week or so?

And has anyone else's 'Completed Assignments' bit on the GR website been changed to French?? I'm sure there's a perfectly logical reason for it......

I don't work for SS but if you read some of today's posts it may put you off! MCE are good but I have only ever been offered female haircuts in a large chain of salons. Am I right in thinking they may not be suitable for you? :D

Always worth joining ALL the MS Co's;)

Service Science are a little slow at paying out expenses and need constant reminders of jobs to be allocated and payments due!
If you can be out of pocket to the tune of £600 for about 6-8 weeks, you'll be OK.

Do 4 and 5* hotels + some restaurants.
Have some telephone jobs to posh car places.

    Easyish reports.

MCE rarely have jobs for me.
