  • Sorry if this has been posted already but I have just seen on the TNS site the following message, never done one myself but there is one in the shopping centre near my new work so was keeping and eye out for it.

From February there will be no more visits to "our coffee shop client", our thanks goes to all those who have worked on this project in the past

Whats the betting the jobs will appear on RE for even less of a fee than TNS paid?

Shame, even though there was no fee I always liked doing these visits. The programme had scaled back though if I remember correctly it used to be monthly and then bi-monthly.

I wonder if they will move to RE like everyone else. I live in hope of it being GR or React but doubt it.

Has anyone been paid by Service Science recently? I know they're not the quickest, but I'm still waiting for payment from December.[/QUOTE]

I had a cheque in the post yesterday for december work.

I haven't received payment for December work, nor have I received a response to my email querying the delay in payment. How do they usually pay? They dont have my bank account details so I thought I might get a cheque in the post. Unfortunately none of their staff have had the decency to respond to my query.

Maybe they will go to a company that will pay for the work involved?

  • I have just submitted RE report and that is me with nothing scheduled going forward, nothing, not a single job. I think this is the first time I have been in this situation since I started... mind you I think that if I had done that "urgent" burger job last week for gap I think I would have a few bits and pieces in there from their bribery..

If it's a Bottom slapping cafe, I too gave a horrendous report, and am still offered jobs. These cafes are generally terrible!

Oh dear - they're not doing very well are they?!!

Remember at our coffee meet last week & one came in & I nabbed it?

It was absolutely awful  - the worst report I've ever had to put in - but every word was true...........and if it's on cctv so be it.......it can all be verified!!

I've done these loads of times as part of the general supermarket shop, and the Cafe has always been a bit yuk - but not that yuk!!

Thankfully I had a lovely hotel visit in Edinburgh the next day which was great................I know the two can't be compared, but it's so nice when you can be positive about everything after sending in a totally negative report.

Another hotel in Edinburgh next week too - with a different company - and that's usually great, so looking forward to that..........:)

I've just sent an awful 'Super Shopper' one in though - it's swings and roundabouts at the moment................
    ;)

Don't know if they are on here, but just had a real battle with someone trying to assign Death/Fun Shops in Glasgow ! Three times I was pipped at the post! Hopefully I got my own back on some of them! Got a nice day out though! (Shame the rate is down again).

Not me.............I saw them but left them for you as I know you said you don't mind doing them..............!:)

Got 6 more - just around 5 more in the Glasgow area I haven't done !

I'm going for the full set but there's someone out there getting in the way!

There are some that I could do second time round now, but the staff in these places are fairly permanent - even 9 months on they'd remember me.

Sorry your Cafe was so bad ! They should be using the in house cafe as a show piece for some of their food rather than using the cheapest rubbish, cooked badly.
