Running out of time, needing to borrow in time for xmas...

I cannot believe I just sat here and wasted over an hour reading this, although it was quite an entertaining read - not that the OP is in such a mess but that such good advice given, all relatively similar which speaks volumes, all ignored. Completely.0

Unlike most debt free wannabes...I actually want to pay all my debts the honest way.
I would believe this if you hadn't spent the first pages of this thread complaining about how the banks are out to get you and it's unfair how much they've charged you and they won't give you a loan to sort yourself out.I would LIKE to be able to at least provide some sort of enjoyment to my kids in the way of some presents.
And you can't stop gambling for a week to do that? You could make £70 go pretty far...
Understand that you're addicted, but you can't be too bothered about your kids potentially being 'dangerously cold' & not having any Christmas presents if you're spending £10 a day gambling. Can't you at least play some free games to tide you over for a week?0 -
Right fella, you need to sit down with the wife and work out ALL outgoings (including your gambling and any bits she might need to fess up). Id suggest going to the DFW board (I'm on there as are a lot of helpful people) and opening a thread, and putting up an SOA so we can help. You need to pull your head out of the sand and KNOW you need a new bank account not related ot any debts, you NEED to call/stop payemnts to get through the next month or so and you NEED to contact a free DMP service (CCCS or Payplan are well regarded around here)
Almost all on that board have been in this mees in one way or another, and we are there to help you help your family and get debt free. There's no quick fixes, it's about change, but in the long run, do you want your kids to grow up knowing there was security in their home and their parents, or wayward spending that brought them to their knees and !!!!ed them big time** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

Sound advice elfen - and a complete waste of time too.
There is more chance of henry hammer getting a loan from Loanfinder than cisco listening to anyone !Space available for rent0 -
Also I suspect that cisco is a troll, a better one than usual but still a troll."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
