Has anyone seen any current good deals on knitwear elsewhere please?
Sainsburys had some half-price stuff yesterday on jumpers etc.
I want to see the Matalan sale - other sales as well.

Thanks, might see if I can pop up there later - looking for a cardigan for my middle sister, seeing as I have now spent more on my youngest sister than on her, oops!0

Wow - that's great - where were you? I agree - the staff (some of them) were helpful - but some were really overly strict. I guess they were worried as someone got hurt I understand to do with their men's sweater £10 offer before.
It was at Lakeside, Thurrock. After I went and bought food shopping, came back round there was a major queue hehe must have just timed it ok! (for once....)

Sorry to bump - did anyone try to exchange in a similar way with the Jumpers that were on offer the other week?
How quickly do you think they'll restock? Or do they have stock in reserve, with only a certain proportion allocated to the Showstopper offer?
Thanks in advance.
Bumping again incase anyone can help answer my question.0 -
I agree they are overpriced at £35 but I did hear a lady in the queue behind me say she paid £35 for one in october, so they weren't just bought in for this offer, m&s are known for overpricing their clothes at £35 I think its steep but you wouldn't get this quality cardigan anywhere else for £10.0

The price is subjective though, and doesn't seem higher than other similar cardigans from various shop.

Hi
I brought two yesterday, well I got one and my hubby queued with me for the second one. We were at the Birmingham store, the queues were long but I didn't mind. Took 20 minutes, good job they were giving out nice biscuits lol some people were getting annoyed. They had loads still in store, all of the different colours/sizes/styles to choose from. Ive got one in khaki (which is quite long) and a dark blue (which is shorter and ribbed). I'm pleased with both
My friend actually brought one for the full price last week! She's gutted now!

Sorry to ressurect an old thread.
My mother bought one of these before christmas and has never used it and still has tags and wants to return it as she just doesnt think it suits her.
The girl at the till said ok, but when she scanned the label the computer told her she could not give refund on this? She asked another member of staff who said it clearly stated on the day they could not be refunded.
The receipt says latest refund date is 20/1/11.
Anyone else had this? Can they do this ?0 -
She could always try customer services, but we were told that there were no refunds unless faulty when buying.0
