Didn't like them myself but plenty of choice.Tried at the Gyle this morning to get my first choice of the ribbed one in plum,no joy in my size,tried to get charcoal,no joy in my size,so ended up with navy .Happy at the price and meet some lovely people in the queue!
I was picking up orders at the Gyle today but didn't have time to stop, I may have passed you both in the queue
Actually take that back, I was in first thing this morning!0 -
The Gyle was like a cattle market, you were lined up to get into an area like a sheep pen and while in the line you were shown 3 styles and offered a chocolate, once in the pen you can choose your cardigan and only get out once security checked you had one cardigan and stamped it and showed you where to Q again behind 20 other shoppers with an overpriced cardigan reduced to £10 (what it should have been). I was fed up by this point and hung it on a rail so a lucky shopper can have it without going through the pen. Loads to be had though. Friend had went to another Marks and got 3 at 3 different tills.0

Is that the shorter one? If so then no. I was looking for an 8 in the shorter one too and they had it in navy, red, fawn, chocolate and a dark greeny colour.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I've just come in after being out all day and my cardigan has a hole in the front! The stores locally are sold out, and while I know I can get a refund, I really don't want to miss out on the cardigan. The store I was in were taking your details and then giving you a cardigan and what with the scramble I just had a very quick look at it before buying.
Overheard someone asking if they got wrong size, for a gift, if the person could exchange it for another size (assuming there was more stock) but lady said no as it was reduced to £10 and it would normally be £35, which doesn't seem right to me as it is just a direct exchange. Does anyone happen to know if you can exchange these, assuming some more stock comes in again?0 -

I'd personally argue with them that its damaged goods and not fit for purpose, (and you actually want the cardigan, not trying to pull a fast one for a better deal!) but I guess that doesn't mean they have to exhange? Could offer a refund, good luck though, let us know how you get on...

Got a lovely grey one (to match recent grey cardy boots
)
Got to my local store at 8am, then headed to the other which opened at 9am. The first store had very little stock to start off with, then the Bristol Mall one apparently had 4000 cardigans... every colour of each design in plenty of each size, was in heaven... So got a present or 2 aswell(took the neighbour)
Both stores had very different approaches, one store didnt stamp my label, the other did. And in the second store the shop assistant who was manning the queue said to quite a few people behind me "it is only 1 per customer but I'm not going to stop you paying and then joining the queue again"
It was all hands on browsing though, not like what some have reported, having to ask an assistant for what you want... I was free to rummage through in both stores...
Seems like all stores have their own approach...
that was my experience too - loads of stock of almost every colour, style and size in the Nottingham store at 3.30ish. The area was roped off, you had to queue to get in the area, then once you had picked your cardi, you had to pass an assistant to get out of the area, and she was reminding everyone it was one item only per person. Then you could pay at any till you liked.0 -
Went back instore this evening (after buying some this morning) and they had just 7 left! I am so glad I made the effort to go there first thing - I'm so happy with my bargains! :T0

Yes they did, I got one.
Got to Ilford Exchange about half past 4 but still plenty to be had, strict one per customer and they handed you what you asked for.
I'm very happy.0 -
