i agree £35, was a bit over the top . but for £10. can't really go wrong. some charity shops charge nearly as much.when we all go out at christmas, wonder how many of us will be wearing matching cardis.lol0

My friend got me a Navy one in the morning and said queues were massive. I went at 4pm and got a black one in size 12 and there were loads left and no queues at all - this was in Glasgow. Between the 2 of us we got 5 cardi's but could have had as many as we wanted (as whispered by the SA) as there were tons left.0

I got a red longer style one and it is a lovely fit. I think it is a great bargain for £10, but I have to say that I thought the queue management at the Southampton store I went to was a bit excessive, and they seemed to be saying different things to different people regarding taking them to the changing rooms, whether you could get a second if you were willing to queue up again etc.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Just popping in to report - the boy did good! Very good!
I sent my hubby in to the store to pick me up a purple cardigan, unsure about what he would bring home, and instead of getting me the one I thought I wanted, he got me one I hadn't seen and which I love even more, it's perfect. Wow, first time for everything! Just wish I didn't have to wait 8 more days to wear it (but I can't moan as I did buy myself a grey one earlier in the day!)
I agree with it's not really worth £35, probably because I can't really afford to shell out that much on one item of clothing while I'm waiting to start my new job, but £10 is a bargain. I have a Primark version, which was £11, and the quality and finish is nowhere near as nice.
I just wish I'd gone back and got one for my sister, who loves this style of cardigan too - feeling quite guilty I have two and didn't get her one0 -

I agree - I certainly wouldn't pay the £35 for these and I also DID see the Primark ones too but agree - the M&S are the better deal.
Wish I'd gone back for more at one store now. I was feeling a bit like M&S employees were Nazis only allowing certain stocks.
but 2 cardis for £20 which are worth £70 - great - and a colleague of mine who saw it on today said it looks lovely.0 -
Last night I went into m&s expecting them to be all sold out, no one in the queue bought my aunt in australia a dark blue ribbed one, the only colour in size 14 left and my mum picked up a chocolate brown ribbed one for herself, was about 6 members of staff still helping!0

My mum went down to M&S Croydon yesterday about 3.30pm and was told all the bigger sizes (she wanted 14) had gone and only tiny sizes left.
She actually ducked under the roped off area and wasn't told off as she was doing this for me for a work colleague.
I feel a bit bad now because tons of larger sizes were left in Marble Arch and I guess would've been there later on after I was there which was about 3pm.
And LOADS of people were wandering the store without these cardis - I sort of wanted to tell them - look at the bargains!
The tie front one if I'd been bothered to try it on would've been an extra.
ah well M&S next time eh, and I missed out on the M&S £10 mens jumpers so well pleased this time.

Wow - that's great - where were you? I agree - the staff (some of them) were helpful - but some were really overly strict. I guess they were worried as someone got hurt I understand to do with their men's sweater £10 offer before.0 -
I'm glad others also thought these cardi's were over-priced at £35, but a steal at £10 each.
Finished now until the sales.
