They were being very strict about allocation. There were a variety of sizes, styles and colours on a stand and then you had to ask for the particular one you wanted.
There was a novelty value with the way it was conducted.............I wold imagine a bit like "rationing" during the war. :rotfl:

Got my red ribbed one that i was after!
Got there about 10.45am and it was mad! The queue to pay was long but i went to the food bit and picked up a couple of bits and paid there. There were 2 styles on the 2 racks, ribbed ones and string pull back with button detail on the front. I would of loved a navy one too for everyday wear (saving my red one for the festive period!) but i was on my own. Don't think i would of got it anyways because as i was leaving the SA took away one empty rack leaving only one rack for everyone to fight over! Thanks OP!

Went into my local store about an hour ago, found one longer style in my size just hanging at front of store so picked that up and handed to DH, then queued up and got one for MIL. They had quite a few of the shorter style left and limited sizes/colours of the longer ones. Seems I was lucky to walk in so late and get a choice0

I got a lime ribbed one at 11-ish from the Leeds Briggate store. They'd put the queue/rails in the basement and it was very quick - they did the rationing thing and then ushered you through to a till. They'd run out of black, and of red/purple/fawn and the darker green in most sizes. Lots of navy and grey left when I left the store..0

got one from hedge end at 12, still lots left too.
anyone know of any online codes at the moment?0 -

Sorry to bump - did anyone try to exchange in a similar way with the Jumpers that were on offer the other week?
How quickly do you think they'll restock? Or do they have stock in reserve, with only a certain proportion allocated to the Showstopper offer?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Loads left in Truro this afternoon at 2pm with more rails being wheeled out0

Still quite a few left in Milton Keynes - I got 2 of the waterfall cardi, one in camel and one in brown. Some larger sizes are sold out.
It's worth checking the M&S website regularly. I found a 30% off promotion on women's clothes (it's still runnning I think), and got a lovely £25 top for £17.
They seem to have new promotions popping up regularly at the moment; you just need to keep checking.0
