  • Happy birthday Crafty! Enjoy your day x
    Yesterday is history
    Tomorrow is a mystery
    Today is a gift
That's why we call it 'The Present'
  • greenbee hugs, I would make some plans of my own of nice things to do, and stick to them whatever else happens. Lots of hugs, I totally sympathise.

And hugs sticks and spoons to everyone else in need. We have 8 inches of snow, I'm hoping it will put off an unpleasant visitor due tomorrow.

Washing to do today and pottering is all, I'm exhausted from the end of term.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
  • :bdaycake:Crafty - Happy Birthday have a lovely day
No snow here yet but blooming cold, car reading -5°. Forecasting heavy snow later.
Dailies all done, cards all written and posted, sausage cassarole in low oven, DH still asleep, kids shouted at. Now off to the garden centre to brave the cold and get some last minute gifts.
Then this afternoon, Wrap wrap wrap!
Have a good Saturday everyone. X

I've lived here for 12 years now - and EVERY year a card comes here for the previous occupants.

    And it just has.

Hopefully these won't be massive but this is what we got in one day.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Thank you all for the birthday wishes - I have had two phone calls (pity I was trying to make marzipan at the time) and opened two presents I had been given some time ago, but my cards seem to have been lost in the same place everyone's parcels have gone to.
Oh well coffee supped - back to roll out the marzipan and admire the white stuff outside.

Time for something to eat and wm, td back on again. Kids all in from running about in the snow, so once there fed they can sort their rooms which means more washing. Their beds have been stripped and remade so at least thats out of the way. :D

Thanks Valli, i don't mind it and kids love it. :rotfl:

    Small Mercies department:
Amazon gift scheduled for last Saturday has arrived!

Anyone else had an Amazon email with January Sales:rotfl:

I have inventoried the food stocks and we should be OK if we break into the Christmas chocolate that someone has bought us (yes, I can recognise that rattle at 20 paces:D)

Time for lunch. Hugs and spoons and sticks as needed.
