Hi Flygang,
About 4 inches of snow this morning, mainly in a couple of hours - its eased off now and that fine powdery stuff is coming down. Once it stops DS & I will go do some snow clearing round and about. We did do our Nanouk of the North Act and get parcels to the post office in the heaviest wettest snow - fun to see the town and decorations looking rather pretty.
Doing a bit of doodling about, then settling down to some paperwork and ironing. DH similarly occupied - we may as well do something useful whilst we're in?
Keep warm and safe ladies,
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
Happy Birthday Crafty

Had a very lazy day so far.
Although up at 8 had 3 hours watching rubbish TV then brunch and a long relaxing bath.
Still in dressing gown so need to dress and dry hair and put on some sort of respectable face. Then help DD receorate the tree in the middle room as I found her dismantling what she had done yesterday as she put the wrong lights on (I had been VERY good and left her completely to it rather than my usual it HAS to be done my way!)
Also need to do a complete food stock and walk doogie to get her some more food.
Luckily no more than a bit of Elf dust on the rooftops here.
Sexymouse - hope your sis is ok and well done for getting the test done (it took me 46 years for the first one!)
Greenbee - Hope OH is ok, hugs for you and make the most of your mum being there for you
lilme - hope DS settled
Crafty - Happy Birthday
Pigpen - The whole list would be great if that helps you too. I'm working Tues - til Fri lunch anyway
Lady Liberty & AnW's mum - Thanks for feedback on Toots, please send her our love
Mudbath - WTG for your son, its a great sport - usually. Unfortunately my DS has stopped now he is in Lincoln as he said the class there is rubbish with very little discipline which is what it is all about. Luckily he got his black belt but would have liked to continue.
Ladyliberty - Hope your DS makes it home, I know how much it means!
Wow vanilla stunning pics and a HUGE amount of snow. Hope hubby's mood settles soon x
Right I really should do something even if its only a lovely milky coffee- orders from my dietician to up my dairy intake to protect my bones, guess almost 2 tubs of yummy mozzarella pearls last night would count too :rotfl:
TTFNMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

:T Love it! East Yorks is using quad bikes to grit this year - they can more easily do the pavements :T
DH got our tree this morning; bit early for us, but we may not be able to get one any later as the grower is struggling to get them out of the ground
DH found our tame wild rabbit dead in the garden todayIt was still warm and floppy, so not long since expired
DS has made pastry, and will make mince pies once it's rested :T He's keen to make marzipan to tomorrow after I mentioned Master Dusty doing that
DD's UCAS application nearly done - all she needs now is to narrow down 8 unis to 5 *shruggy man smilie*
Off to wash windows and do some sewing :j:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

The Redwings have arrived along with about 5" of snow.
Woody is acting like a mad dog and keeps going out and jumping around in the snow - he really does not understand the concept of being a cat.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Sausage cassarole was yummy, DW loaded and on. Made crispy type things with the potato peelings, Yummy!!!! That was a great tip. Now on to wrap presents.
No snow as yet but coming I think, skies look very heavy. I hope its not as bad as predicted as DH is out working this evening, one of the busiest days of the year.
