going to try making my first OP tonight. my mortgage provider claims I should be able to do it through online banking (create a payee type of thing). so i'm going to try it out, then phone them on the weekend to double check it has reached it's destination. If it works it will save money on posting cheques (option 2) or waiting til I get free phone calls on the weekend to pay over the phone via debit card (option 3)

ahh rats - hsbc dont seem to list accord or ybs as an option on their payee list, and i dont have a sort code and account number for my mortgage product, guess i'll have to look at other methods of OPing

Dim 'to, mae rhaid bod eich mortgage provider yn gallu rhoi y sort code ac rhif account i chi. Roedd y Cooperative yn gorfod gwneud yr un peth gyda fi, ac nawr dw i'n gallu talu ar-lein :j
[Not yet, your mortgage provider should be able to give you the sort code and account number. The Cooperative had to do the same thing with me and now I can pay online :j]
