Oh my god
I have just been reading all these SP reviews wish I had read them before changing to them. What a disaster they are , having the same problem as a lot of people on here. I have now been waiting nearly 3weeks for boiler to be fixed, when reporting boiler was now working right it took them 2 days for some one to come and look at it. Then it took over a week for part to come as it had not been ordered, but I only found out when I rang to see if it had come. Then someone never booked us in for it to be done . Sent email to complain about all this, about having no heating and hot water they have rung me and said they will get it sorted as it is now at manager level....... yeah wotever. Now waiting for them to come today not holding out much hope , they are supposed to be here between 8 am and 11 am. Me thinks I will be making phone call at 11:01am .0 -

My advice is to insist you speak to a manager every time, they lie much better! Contact bbc watchdog, they are most interested as is a certain mr vine.
This bunch of con artists need sorting out .
Twitter is good for warning as many people as possible not to give them your money. We are now taking legal advise and it's looking like a new boiler kind of amount .0 -
Well the contractor from Coventry arrived at 10.15 , with the part.
Now fitting the part after being supplied with coffee! Lets see if this foxes it !
Updates to follow!0 -
Well the man has just left , we have heating and hot water .....so far so good..... Now the waiting game to see if the fault really is fixed .....
However, scottish power did what they said they would for the first time since October last year, but only because we caused enough of a stir that a top bod heard about it. This does not mean we are finished with this, even if the fault is fixed, there is still the matter of compensation and the wet walls in the bedroom caused by the lack of heating to be sorted.....
But, I have the top ,mans phone number, so if this boiler fails again, three guesses who gets the call?
Stay tuned people.....and don't let them fob you off!0 -
Boiler faulted again!
And so the process starts again, this is beyond a joke !
It's minus 3 and snowing !
Scottish power are hopeless0 -
***Update*** It gets even worse.
After daily calls to both SP and the subcontractor they are using - a company named 0800REPAIR - it was agreed that an engineer would come out this afternoon to stem the leak and 'fit the parts that had arrived' - not all the necessary parts had arrived, despite having been orederd 17 days ago!
The engineer arrived and immediately advised that more parts would be required since the water-damage, caused by the 17-day-long leak, will have invariably damaged other components of the boiler. However, he agreed to fit the part he had come to fit, to at least stop the water leak, which is causing such damage to the area around our boiler. He was here for two and half hours fitting the part and generally fiddling around. He left advising that he had done all he could and that he'd contact SP to arrange ordering the additional parts which were now necessary as a result of the failure to stop the leak when I first reported it on March 5th - 17 days ago. However, as soon as he left I realised the replacement part he had fitted was leaking - so evidently it is a damaged part and/or he failed to fit it properly. I have spent the hour since then attempting to contact both SP and 0800REPAIR to arrange a revisit. No joy so far.
It looks like another weekend, and probably another week too, without heating and hot water (sub zero temperatures) and a continuation of water-damage to the area around our boiler. (It's leaking 2 buckets of water a day).
I urge anybody considering joining SP 'HomeComfort' to strongly reconsider.
If this isn't repaired by Monday (21 days since I reported it) I'll be contacting relevant authorities and consumer rights groups.0 -
Good morning !
Useless Scottishpower telling more lies! Even the so called top man is telling us crap !
We were told Friday that the parts would be here today and fitted , seeings as they sent faulty parts on Friday . So now they tell us Wednesday . This is just normal. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHInG any of this lot say.
Escalating the complaint? !!!!!!!! ! No working boiler since end of October and still not working.
This lot make politicians look trustworthy.
The rep on here , you notice is saying nothing again.
Nice and warm in your office are you?
Well it's going to get quite hot soon0 -

Friday we were told it would be repaired today, today we are told Wednesday! No doubt Wednesday there will be a new excuse!
This needs sorting now!0 -
We still don't have a date.
Not as bad a situation as 'mocki', but we're 3 weeks now without our boiler. The main problem now is the damage the dampness is doing to our home.
I really urge anybody considering joining 'HomeComfort' to NOT do it.0
