Sorry to hear that, but it's a well known fact that if you deal on-line with a debit card, you will not be covered if all goes wrong. As far as what can I do next, I suggest you read all 41 other links, and if I were you, I would change banks. I left HSBC about 4 years ago, as I realised that the customer does not come first with them !!0

Has anyone received a refund cheque from them as promised and did it clear?
I received an email saying a cheque was "in the post" but it still hasn't arrived!!0 -
I haven’t actually brought anything form this site but come on to investigate this company as just before Christmas we had someone knock on our door looking for this company. We didn’t think much of it at the time and then yesterday received a court order for them, think I might take a walk down to their “premises” at the weekend and see what really going on! Has anyone else tried to find them and had any luck?
If I hear any more I will keep you posted.0 -
I placed an order at the beginning of December and after numerous emails which were not replied to I threatened them with legal action and got a reply!! they said they were sending me a refund, which I eventually got by cheque this week, paid it into my bank and..... surprise, surprise it bounced 2 days later !! So frustrating !! will now go down the route of claiming back on via my credit card... the Con Merchants !!!0

I received a letter from my bank on Saturday, to say that I have been fully refunded, although it is a temporary refund depending on the merchant's bank agreeing or not, from the dispute I raised with them for non-delivery of goods ordered from thebigstore.co.uk, and payment taken on my credit card by izooba.com.
I now have to wait to see if izooba.com agrees with the action.
I hope other people are getting such good news of refunds.0 -

Looks as though I'm a victim of this company, order taken 6th December, emails to say delay on stock but will despatch ASAP, if I couldn't wait then a full refund will be issued. I took the option of a refund, which has turned up as a cheque ADDICTBARGAINS £84.98, which this morning has been returned.0

Hi
For those that paid via debit card, it may depend on your bank as to whether they are interested or not.
I am with Santander and they have got me a refund from izooba - just had to fill out a form and provide evidence of order and my communication with thebigstore and it has all been sorted.
Just thought would let you know in case it is helpful for anyone
Good luck with your refunds0 -
