I would urge you to contact Essex Police and log the matter, maybe with a bit of pressure from the law they may decide to refund quicker!! I am also going to report them to trading standards maybe?

I placed an order with them on 24 November they said 5 to 10 days for delivery then sent an email saying it would be there on 16 of December, but it did not arrive, so sent them email asking when it would arrive they did reply but said my order had been cancelled and refund check was being processed don’t think ill be seeing that though, I paid with visa debt card and they say will give refund. I found 2 other posts different site but same problems one received fake goods.

My husband ordered a month ago some items which did not arrive, we emailed them and they said our items were not in stock and they would reorder them,we then recieved an email stating our order had been cancelled , we are still waiting for refund! This is a poor company who have no customer service skills and would urge anyone who is considering ordering not to! We are still waiting to hear back from them as they have £177 of ours so surely this is illegal ?

i contacted my bank today and they are going to get my money:j back direct from the what ever the name was on my bank statement (izoomby) i think. if i where you i would get in touch with your bank if you payed by card or i think your money is gone, you are only the second person i have seen who actually got something from them.

if any one gets refund please let us all no

FWIW I'd be cautious with that website, the first stage of submission is insecure (HTTP as opposed to HTTPS), never bothered with the second stage, website feels cheap...

it depends on who your card is with ring your bank to make sure i am getting a refund

Thebigstore took money from my bank card account today but not in their name. They used Izooba.com , and they did take the correct amount as per my order. Just have to wait now for a delivery (maybe!!).
I suppose I will have to give them 10 working days to deliver, then if nothing is received, I will have to claim from my bank.
Fingers crossed now and hoping!
Everyone must now check their accounts for odd looking payments, and not for thebigstore taking money.

I have also been scammed. I made a purchase late November 2010 and cancelled the order as the 'company' could not delivery before Xmas. On their email respones, they confirmed the order was cancelled but never answered my questions regarding a refund.
I am seeing more and more people on forums saying they have been scammed by thebigstore.co.uk. I would like to know if anyone has received the items which was ordered by this site.

I paid by debit card - so thought my bank would not cover my loss. But to my surprise they will after I complete a few forms.

I hope the people behind this site are found out and exposed.

Does nobody check these people out before finding MSE? I do wonder!
