I think MSE moved to those hosts when we had the direct DDOS attack against us a few years ago?
I would have thought one basic point of hosting from such a company would be protection against any backwash that might result from the targeting of any other sites on the same datacentre? At least, I would hope so anyway. Would be pretty feeble secure hosting if not?
Considering that MSE has recently had other server slowness glitches and problems, I still think it most likely that it is just a 'run of the mill' technical glitch. Occam’s razor and all that.....
