I picked the boys up from school as Dd and her OH were still getting their shopping,when they got home they had already sorted out extra for dinner so I had dinner with my 'tribe tonight ,which was lovely as the biys are always excited when Granny stays unexpectedly as they know we will have a game of cards or something .DD treated herself to a nice bottle of Dior Miss Cherie perfume from one of her friends at work whose sister works on the channel boats and she got it for virtually half price..Probably the most she has spent on herself in a long time ,but it is a lovely smell.I may see if they do a dusting powder to go as an extra present for her .
Just off to bed as the tempreture is dropping like a stone and there is a hard frost ouside already. good job I put the cover over the windscreen as I have the school run in the morning .
I had a nice present in the post today,my late husbands Masonic lodge sent me a nice cheque for £100.00 Christmas so I am saving it to treat myself in the January sales.Bless them they do look after the widows of the lodge.
