I am up for a mini challenge as long as I can do it from my sickbed :o lol gawd I am such a bad patient !!!

Wll aim for £150 by end of the month and will put it towards somthing :p not decided what yet though. TBH we seem to have a few small debts to pay, I have uni courses to pay. I am witing for a big back payment from DWP so that will pay off all the small bits so some savings would be good too ???

Will see where I get with the £150 first though lol :p

    xx

    Hi everyone,

This is something I really want to do too. DH and I have a rather large mortgage and 11k would make a superb dent in that.

We have had a mass Ebay listing today and one item has gone already for £40 so that is a start, I will also count quidco, vouchers used for gifts, survey cash, money boxes and any comp winnings. If I could pay £11k off the mortgage by the end of 2011 I would be very happy indeed. OH and I are thinking off setting up a small business so any money made from that would also be included although after mentioning this challenge he is looking quite worried

    Good luck to everyone!

Wow this thread is moving fast!
I've already got £1 saved by using water from my dehumidifier instead of buying vapouress.

I have just bought a dehumidifier - how does this work???

    Day One

Okay, after day 1 i have a grand total of £18.00. Not bad, but i need to up my game! £18 over the year is *only* £6570. Not to be sniffed at, but not £11K! :D

I've got ebay listings ending today, so fingers crossed there. Plus i've been listing things on my turbo lister that i'm going to start at tea time and they will end next Sunday.

Jess, because the water that collects in your dehumidifier has been filtered it's good to use in your iron instead of vapouress. It doesn't smell as nice, but won't build up limescale and is free! :)
