  • Good day here too. As well as the stuff i posted earlier (making bread with ingredients I had instead of buying it, having a spend free day etc) I've noe listed over 20 items on ebay. So no actual money to add today but lots of ground work. xx
    Make 2019 in 2019: £1350/2019
  • Hello all! This thread caught my eye and I've spent all evening reading the whole thing. I'd love to try it too and would love to get going right away - Gonna read through again and take notes this time. I don't expect I'll make 11k but a tenth of that would make a huge difference if I'm honest.

Happy new year and good luck to all anyway :D
  • Im going to join as well Im already signed up to the £5 a day challenge so this is a big leap I dont know how I'll do but Im gunna give it a whirl and any result will be better than nothing.

been busy today few surveys done and joined toluna :j Also just joined ebay and listed a few things so I hope they do well:D

Could you explain to me how toluna works, I've looked at it a few times but I don't know much about it so I don't know if it's worth joining or not. Thanks

NOW JAN 2019 (that still needs to change)
  • Happy New Year all!

Have got off to quite a good start....

Am only counting extra money coming in and recycled shrapnel (£2s and 20ps downwards).

Had a win on Dorset Cereals £12 worth of cereals.
    Recycled some computer games £18.

    So that's a definite £30 so far.

Also won £50 Sports Direct vouchers (very handy as two sporty DSs) but will only count once received.
Awaiting the postage bag to recycle an old phone, will add that to the total when received in bank.

Am really hoping Cashbackchief pay up soon as have £18.70 sitting there, again won't count that until in bank......crossing fingers it gets there.

Have not even started to declutter, need to do that when the DSs are back at school and don't notice what I'm decluttering!

Really enjoying seeing what others are doing, am getting some good ideas.....need to put into practice!

    Good luck all.
    LM :)

    Hi all,

V excited about this challenge - next week I'll be decluttering, with a view to ebaying anything not bolted down!!

Anyways, had a nice surprise earlier when I was emptying the rubbish out of my handbag - I found 2 scratchcards, both with a £2 win!

Sooooo, added to my initial £4, I now have £8! (11k is going to take forever!)

    :D
96 items decluttered so far in 2013 :)

I don't use this as it takes some of your hard earned cash from you, I get the money bags from the post office and bag mine up and take them to the post office or the bank (if you have kids get them to do it for you! ;))
