how are well all doing today?

I have mentioned earlier on in the thread but this year my plan is to save as much as I can by buying stuff in sales ie presents etc and I will be trying to win as much of my 11k as possible.

If I win money it will go straight into my sealed pot. If I win something that will be suitable as a gift thrugh the year either xmas or birthday then I will put the RRP of the item into the pot. If I win something that I can sell then on ebay it shall go. If I win an experience of some sort or a holiday then I will count the RRP of the prize to my total as I havent't had to fork out for it. I hope this makes sense lol.

I also hope to go back to work this year, those who were about last year will know why I was off for so long but for the newbies .. hopefully march! Any money earnt from that that would be extra as it would only be a few hours per week especially at first.

It is DP's birthday at beg of feb and I have been saving in a sealed pot for nearly a year, I had to open it in september as I had a car crash and desperately needed a new car so I had to take some out of that but I managed to top it back up and I have £250 in there but I also have £200 in my savings account so I can leave my sealed pot sealed and just keep adding to it. So I am £250 up on day 1 :D

Good luck to you all and I hope this year is as much of a giggle as last year!

Here's a link to sealed pot challenge - it seems it's just another way of saving by putting odd change into a pot and not opening it until the end of the year. There may be more to it - it's not something i've been part of, but others have been pleased about how much they can achieve without even missing the money.
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

No numbers - just promise your allegience and head on in!!!!!

I have started cushion no2 to go in my craft fair selling box, and received some of the stuff I ordered from ebay. So just have to focus on getting things made and looking for a venue late March early April. I was given a late pressie from MIL of £40 so that will go directly into my pot - so thats me up and running 2 days early for us drunken scots! Will update my signature.
Need to focus on whats going on ebay and get a move on with getting it listed - its not like I am short of stuff to sell!!!!
Good luck everyone - £10960 left to go!!!!
