  • Fantastic challenge!

    I'd like to join please.

Any monies received will be going towards the mortgage, the offset pot for monies saved, and payments off capital for extra money received in.

I will be counting any competition wins, cashback payment, carboot/ebay sales........basically anything 'extra' coming into our home. Oh, and my £2 coins and loose change pots! :D

Unless I'm a very lucky girl I may not reach £11K but by being part of this challenge will keep me focussed.

    Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone and welcome to all the newbies.
I am so pleased to see such enthusiasm and I am looking forward to starting again on the 1st Jan.
Very pleased with this years total making just over half of the target. This year will be much harder as I have sold all my old gold, cds and anything else that wasn't nailed down. I also opened a new bank account netting £100 and changed my utilities making £80 cashback.
Does anyone know how often you can change your gas and electricity?

Good luck to everyone and a Happy and Very Prosperous New Year.

Ooh I'd love to join in too. I started last year but went off track a little. I did love swapping links for the free bingo though and the take a break bonanza that gave a few of us a good boost!! I have just signed up to their site again, I am keeping my fingers crossed about a Census collector post too. Has anyone heard yet? I also hope to do a bit of AQA and ms/audits where I can.

Last night was a sleepless one for me, thinking about how I can sort my mess of a mortgage out. This challenge is exactly what I need. I'll be squirreling every penny I can into a new savings account. Did someone mention a good 6% one btw :D

I'm looking forward to the challenge starting. I think last year I got to nearly half, but I veered away from the thread so will be doing my best to keep up with it next year. I'd like to focus on my blogging this year so hoping that will bring some income.
  • Well, made a start

I've listed 8 books on ebay (and green met) only another few thousand to go - could be a long slog :o

Am also entering the details for a mystery shop i did earlier - does anyone else find it mind numbing? I seem to be saying the same things again & again - just worded slightly differently lol.

Currently my total (received) earnings stand at £28 :rotfl:

That's a great start - just double it and then double the next amount (continue 9 times) and then you'll have £14,336 :T

    Easy hey?!! :rotfl:
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.
