Hi guys,
Hope you are all doing well and squeezing every penny
I was doing fine, great in fact until about 7:45am when I got a text message from my bank. I get messages from them with my statement on or when money goes out over a certain amount.
It seems that I went over my overdraft in January so they thought they'd charge me and take all of it out today. All £75!
I was so upset that I called First Direct and then CRIED down the phone! How embarrassing!
I have worked my bum off trying to get myself out of debt and then this happens. All because I went over on three separate days with these amounts - £3.37, £17.60 and £49.77. I transfered money from another account so I wouldn't stay in it, but because it wasn't the same day they have charged me.
I know we all have to deal with this, but I just didn't need that todayDEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!
Debt at Highest (November 2010) - circa £40k

Hello Rosie.
I see that your looking for new ideas for making the home-made wine. Have you thought about making mead wine. It's made from honey and you can add other fruits depending on the time of year. At the moment the gorse is in flower so Gorse mead is one you could try. Just google celtnet recipies.
By the way mead is soooo lovely but soooo strong!
Best wishes

I joined the challenge quite recently, and so far haven't really made anything... but have started organising things that I may be able to sell.
We have quite a few DVDs from the USA, including box sets. I thought they may be hard to sell here since most people only have DVD players that take UK/European DVDs. Does anyone know where would be the best place to sell them in the UK (ebay? any websites that buy used DVDs?)0 -
due to tummy problems i'm off work for at least a week so free bingo i think anyone want to pm me a referralSo finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0

Gigglepig, you're best bet would probably be eBay, places that buy them or offer Trade's don't tend to like US DVD's I've found.
Make sure in your listing that it is listed as American though.
I would think most people have a DVD player that can play Region 1 or, at least be unlocked to play them using Google
You may have to list them slightly cheaper than the UK ones but no doubt they would sell if in good condition.0 -
