Hi All,
just caught up on last nights posts. Jo, elly and skint you had me in fits of laughter especially ellys bush. It was just like old times. I really miss mabels witty quips but glad to hear she is doing well with her business. I haven't been on the ville for a while as nothing seemed to be happening there but I will take a look later.
Btw we made loads of blackberry wine last year it is really easy and ready in 3 months. We made elderberry too but that takes longer before you can drink it.
Elly hope you are better soon.

evening Rosie, hope your well, must have a look and see what else you can make wine with, wonder if theres anything at this time of year.? having to watch the pennies really closely now as well as make them as o/h has virtually no o/t ) only the 2nd time in about 20 years, so might just try the wine making, along with the bread making! just away to have a look at the vouchers thread and see if there' anything worth the ink!skintbint x

Well DH taught one of his music lessons today so £20 in the pot. I've been working on the funding bid for work so that is at least part towards my challenge. to extend my job past end of August.

i have started ordering Wrights mixes in larger amounts and splitting with my sis as they dont deliver in her area, so ends up about 70p for a two pound loaf but i split it into 1lb tins and freeze. i dont have a breadmaker so make 2 or 3 batches at a time - wouldnt bother with making white bread but we love the different malty loafs etc only thing is they scoff it as soon as its out of the tin! so tea tomorrow is malted bread and homemade lentil soup made to stick to yer ribs,
an afternoon in the pub is just what i think we could all do with but forget the Old Firm side of things - we're all tangerine and black here!skintbint x
