Savvy – the bunting is gorgeous, I don’t know how up for it you are but you would do well with that on www.etsy.com. And the cake is fantastic too!
Many many thanks dillidalli!! :j I think I will give that a whirl, when I can get some decent time to spend doing it, at the moment I'm getting dumped on from work and have masses to suddenly do which in a way is great as I will get paid more, but it also eats up most of my free time for the planning of the lessons :( Like although it's half term next week, I have to learn a new subject and plan a ton load of lessons in it as well as plan for the other lessons I have going..............it's the bit I really hate about the job, no wait..........the marking is, ah nope IVing is - that's intensely boring!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Excellent work and congrats Hales!! :T Hoping I'll get there a bit sooner now I'm getting some more hours at work, anything I earn over £260 p/m is going to be included as that's my benchmark, although I will be using the extra to pay off debts asap!

my ds plays golf for england and i have been looking at trying to get sponsors for him as we need money to cover that too....and not got a bean, although I am now getting something towards travel expenses which i didnt last year but they are being swallowed up too
wilf - Have you ever contacted your local sports development team? Your local council should have one and your county too. They should hold a program called 'funder finder' (name may've changed now) that helps various bodies to find funds/grants for clubs or elite athletes etc etc, and they will help you apply for any grants to help with his expenses/training such as lottery funding, Sportsmatch or whatever he may be eligible for. Criteria and funding changes constantly with LA's and govt etc, so don't be put off if it doesn't work immediately, try again at some point. They should also be able to put you in touch with people that can help your son out with various things be it equipment, travelling expense or whatever, and you can certainly use them for networking in your area. That publicity is quite lucrative if used effectively, I'd certainly be capitalising on that ;)

    ;)
  • I have been on a massive thank you mission as I could have written a short story if I tried to reply to everything, everything is good although it is a bit of a slow money making month for me. But, it actually suits me as I have had lots of projects to get sorted out and still working on the shop opening. Also, just still reviewing everything and making sure that I am on the right track with the big projects that I have planned. I promised myself that I would make sure that everything I do this year is thoroughly planned out as I want no mistakes.
