Hi, I am asuming theres that challenge again. There was a 2010 one running on the debt free wannabee i think but really can't remember. basically, put £1 away in a bank or somewhere every day until next christmas, both myself and my husband are going to do this until end November next year. Hopefull will have £334 each to go and spend of gifts, food, drink or whatever really. What we don't spend will go into the £11k challenge or the following years christmas savings.
sorry waffled on a bit thereLucylema x :j0 -
Hi, I'm definitely going to save £1 a day toward xmas. But, I will also do what I did at the start of the year and buy a lot of pressies in the january sale. I did that and it saved me an absolute fortune, I got lots of lovely jewellery from accessorise and calculated that I got £100 of the shiny stuff for £20.
I would advise that if there is anything that you want to buy then it might be worth doing it now and reselling later on e.g buy xmas decorations and sell them next year, buy perfume gift sets and sell on ebay as a valentines day presents or mother day presents later on. Look at the stuff that you can see on sale and think about how it can make you money later on in the year.10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000

Debt free wannabe: £24695/£24695 - Debt free date: November 20210 -
I used up my old christmas cards this christmas so I need some new ones for next christmas, think I'll have a look out in the sales for some cheap ones to use for next crimbo!
don't forget to cut the cards you received this year and make them into gift tags for next year's pressies! we do that every year
