Well I've made a start already - selling a collectable that's been hanging round the house for years, got a gallery interested, now just need to negotiate!

Also got an idea for a business for end of next year/Christmas 2011. Pinching someone else's idea - seen at shopping centre - and improving on it (all's fair in love and business) but it needs investment of both time (lots) and money(£4k should do it). So I guess I know what I'm building some stake money up for over the first 6 months of the year at least.

I'm up for this!! Although I work full time, I've just applied for a Cencus 2011 job starting in March, April time so fingers crossed, think they are available all over the country and you can do evenings and weekends!

I also applied but have been rejected after the 'Siftability' (sp?) stage.

you all might want to look at the frugal board i have joined and the first thing i am going to do is the spend no money on food in january challenge dont know how well it will go but going to be back on the diet and i dont know about you lot but i cant seem to get out of asda but be a £100 lighter .also going to avoid the sales found plenty stuff reduced this year so have decided to boycott the shops.this will be hopefully my first £400 towards this challenge.My first £35 is my bonus from workso hey only £10,965 to go lol oh -£4 on last years m&s voucher card that i used this morning i found it in a drawer as someone said earlier every penny counts so thats £10,961.So nice to see so many faces new and old. This challenge is money saving/money making and some fun along the way

I have opened an account with £237.80 so thats my contribution to Januarys savings. I have also been paid £10 myster hop so will put that into the saving also.

£10752.20 left to find

I am only going to count in money - cash, cheques and postal orders. Anything made on ebay and paid into paypal will be taken out and put into the savings. I am putting all gift cards, vouchers into an envelope for next christmas (accept those with expiry dates).

so far i have signed up to 2 challenges - this and £1 per day for christmas 2011.
