Not sure how I'm going to make £11,000 as I've recently graduated from uni and still struggling to get a job so I'm going to need all the help I can getOverdraft: -475.14/£1,500

Hello
Please can I tentatively join youI think I want to give this a go but struggling to see how I can make £11k but hoping I might make something over the 12 months.
We have a lot of work to do on our house, want to put the house on the market and move and also have some small debts to pay off. On top of that I don't work at the moment due to some health issue I have but I am studying with the OU to keep my mind active
Think I will try doing the challenge by saving, selling what I can, maybe seeing if I can find a suitable part time job in 2011, picking pennies off the floor, pinecone, quidco, etc !! Will also be doing OS bits like from scratch cooking, stardrops, etc to save some more pennies !! Will also be upping the mount of comps that I do and using the prizes to save on pressies at Christmas and Birthdays to save some more money.
I am going to dig out the bank details for a savings account that we rarely use and use that to put the money into and keep track !!

I've actually set myself the task of earning £100 from:
- selling off my crap on ebay.
- Using cashback sites.
- Perhaps a bit of matched betting.
etc.
In order to pay off £1000+ from our mortgage next year.
I can't really see how I could make £11k without setting up my own business!
Still, I'd like to be involved, why not!
Aim for the stars, reach the moon!
You can make £100 from Cashback sites in about 5 minutes. When I first signed up to Captain Cashback I made around about £160 within a week using the main offers.
ill go into it more when I have the time but its an easy process0 -

I cannot believe I'm about to say this but, erm, I think I might like to be part of this.
Cannot think how in the heckity heck a "normal" person can make an extra £11K in 1 year, but I'll give it a go by adding up things that are slightly outside official guidelines.
If I buy something for £5 in the Boots 75% sale, then I will have saved £15. As such, I will mentally include it in my total - I might split it into 2. How much I actually make, and how much I save!
I do worry that the doctor might have been wrong when she said I didn't need to increase my medication.0 -
Hi everyone,
I've never posted here before but like the sound of this challenge. I have been unemployed most of this year and have really struggled financially. I still live at home with my parents (even though I am far too old!) and would love to start saving in the new year with a view to eventually being able to afford to move out but I am basically starting from scratch with no money at all so it seems an impossible feat at the moment. I have now got a new job to start next year but want to do all I can to save as well.
The trouble is I have no idea how I can make money - my job is one that I would struggle to fit extra work around and I don't have anything to sell, so I am looking for inspiration and hope there will be some great ideas here, so that 2011 will be a lot better than this year!

Hi, I would like to join to.
Started my hypnotherapy business last year and it is dead at the moment. I have taken on a part time job but want to stay self employed. This year I have been e-baying also to keep afloat. 2011 I want to get motivated again with my hypnotherapy but I will also look at other options to work alongside.
Good luck everyoneSew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it0
