  • I've just listed a load of my old college/uni books on Amazon, so fingers crossed.

I did find that if anyone has any books they want to get rid of, but want the money quick - Abebooks do a Buy Back scheme

    http://buyback.abebooks.co.uk/

They don't give great money - but it's less hassle and guaranteed money if they are selling your book.

FYI - I notice a lot of people saying they are selling on eBay this weekend as it's free. I don't know if it's because I sell quite often, but I get 100 posting for free each month in certain category's, so that's why I've been listing the last few weeks!

    Hi,

Has anyone ever used AliExpress to buy wholesale? Also I don't seem to be able to find out how you would work out import costs if you bought from abroad. Is it a % or does it depend on weight?

Can I join too. I know it's a bit late but hey...

Are reductions in living expenses allowed ? Just that I reduced my living expenses by £100 a month by cutting out rubbish :)

  • Just went through my old Game Cube games to sell. A bit sad to see them go, but they never get played!

Should be getting a cheque from CeX soon :o)

Just a word of advice - I know it's easy to say "you'll get more money on eBay" but look carefully at other items that are the same as yours. Once you take out listing fees, final value fee, PayPal fee, packaging costs and time and effort going to the Post Office - you might find you get a better offer from somewhere like CeX or Music Magpie for example.

Right now I've realised what time it is, I really best be off to bed!

I've never used this site before, so I can't give you my personal experience - however there seems to be an active Community Board. I'd post on there and see see you get any response.

    Hope that helps

I've just thought that maybe I could make some money doing tarot readings? I would need to spend a while dusting off the tarot cards and getting up to speed but it could be a small earner and might add to the pot. I only have £22.14/11000 so far but I've listed stuff on ebay and will be listing more this weekend.
