    Morning everybody!

Havent had time to fully catch up on the posts yet but everyone seems to be doing fabulously!

Just waiting for my ebay items to end tomorrow to see what i make from there. Had a spare £30 knocking around so have added that to the pot.

Am thinking of signing up for some mystery shopping assignments but have never done anything like it before, anybody know who pays the best rates and can point me in the right direction??

Good luck to all and keep up the hard work!

Wilf55 that is an impossible question to answer lol. Also any answer might be limiting for you. People have made extremely successful blogs that would easily net them over 11k/yr but they are probably the exception. others may make a good sideline from it and others may earn pennies from it.
I guess there are 2 categories where you are most likely to succeed.
1 being where you have a very strong passion for something and the ability to write well about it and learn how to blog and market yourself well so that you stand out.
2 being that you see blogging as a means to an end but are passionate about that itself and have the energy and motivation and aptitude to really learn and understand how and why blogging works and the commitment to create that for yourself.
have a look at some successful blogs and their "models" and maybe compare to some less successful blogs.
setting up a blog can be simple cheap and straightforward. There is little to lose in giving it a try. Then I would evaluate whether it is something that really floats your boat and you are inspired to really get into the ins and outs of how to make it a great blog or whether that feels like effort that you would find it hard to commit to.

people/blogs to look at/for could include seth godin, problogger, steve pavlina and zen habits.

The other thing I would be wary of is the thousands of people wanting to sign you up for their blogging training. Much of what is available is available free online if you search it out and many people who sell training material are not making a lot of money from blogging themselves so why buy their info.
That is not to say there isn't good paid for training out there - just its hard to find or if it is provided by someone with a really big reputation you would probably gain a lot from their free stuff before you ever needed to buy something and then you would have had time to get a feel for their credibility and expertise.

    Hope that helps

13000 it is entirely up to you. for me if it was a definite reduction ie changed house insurance and will be better off by £10 a month. I would include it. if it was a budget change I made like spending £50 a month less on food then I might include it but only at the end of each month if I had stuck to the budget.
Some people don't include money they have saved but for me I view it as extra disposable income that I wouldn't have had unless I took an action to bring it about.

Skint - really hope your doggie is ok. Big hugs for you.
I think keeping track of your orders and sorting out fairs etc is a large and important part of what you do so if you have managed to still do that in the midst of everything else you have had on then you still retain superwoman status in my book hun!!

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Been a busy week so had not got as much done as I had hoped. DD has had flu, so we have had DGS since hogmany, he went back to his own house on Thursday so I can get focussed again. Have managed to do 3 cushions and 1 scarf though to go in the craft fair sale box, once sold profit should be about £25 but I will count that when they are sold. Used vouchers for part of the tesco shop so thats £25, in the pot along with daily change which will get counted in the totals when it gets emptied. I also emptied my purse of what was left from the housekeeping last night - Saturday morning starts afresh so thats another £11.39, in total I will increase my balance by £36.39,
Have a good day - more sewing I think as that bl88dy snow has returned, its getting so tiresome now!!!

Did anyone catch Martin on Radio 2 yesterday? One listener called in with this tip - when you have finished shopping and just before you get to the checkout, look in your trolley and take out two things that aren't essential. I think I'm going to try this, I always end up buying bogofs cause they're cheap but I don't *actually* need them...then add the money to my pot :j

Week two starts with a £180 bill from HMRC as somehow they overpaid our Tax Credits last year. :( All they have to do is calculate an amount of money and pay it - how can it get cocked up so badly?

Anyway, onto more positive things - started gathering some stuff for eBay sales and have found another old mobile ready to sell.

I have received my payment from TopCashback so thats another £20.14 to add to my total:j

I am going to list at least 10 things on ebay today and another 10 tomorrow, but still not no bids or watchers on the stuff I have already listed:(

Am still playing free bingo, although I have played some paid games with my winnings but not won very much:(

Looks like I will be able to do the car boot tomorrow as the weather look like it will be sunny, although it has been raining overnight, it is at a school in the playground so wont matter too much if its wet!

Great to see everyone doing so well and still so motivated:j
