I have my doubts about this Company. My first order was declined. Second order authorised (using the same card)! Placed another order and accepted. My second order arrived yesterday with one DVDwhen I had ordered two. I emailed them yesterday and today but no replies. I wish I had never heard of this site.
I have used them before a few months back, I think it may be that they are just overwhelmed with demand

Thanks for this. I have just contacted my bank and my account is all in order with only one payment taken so far.
  • Does anyone have further info on when/if more copies of Toy Story 3 might be available?

The 'Help' section on the site suggests some will be available this monring - have I missed that particular boat?

    Cheers.

    OF COURSE !!!!! Just clicked!!
The reason our cards are not being accepted may be the internet attack on Visa & mastercard due to the Wikileaks thingy!

Those that have had their cards declined - it could be because the company is trying to take more money than you have authorised them to take. This will result in the bank declining the transaction - and rightly so!! As in....

Maybe it's better to thank your lucky stars that the bank has declined the cards - especially as there is no answer on the phone, email nor on facebook (judging by the comments on their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/beedotcom#!/beedotcom?v=wall choose bee.com + others ), the only way you may have been able to get your money back is by getting via your card company and you might have needed that by Xmas.

As I said yesterday and got slated for - I find it VERY strange that the main DVD supplier of Sainsbury and Morrisons has no stock left. They are not a new business, they are an established business that is now selling online. The point of them being a supplier is that they always have stock of the goods the supermarkets require - Sain/M'sons would order and they send it to them within a few days. Sains and M'sons will not wait until Bee get it back in stock, the supermarkets will simply go elsewhere for their stock. It is all rather odd IMO. Why would Bee have all the hassle of getting more staff to pick and send orders, offer free postage and codes thus losing more money, etc... on a current selling DVD for £2.99 when they can sell it to Sains and Morrisons for min £6, in bulk, have a guarenteed income and lose money? Businesses do NOT trade to lose money.

Something is not right with this company - I'd be cautious. Did the padlock come up when you paid? Do they hold your card details?

thats the thing a card transaction definitly took place for 3.99 which was authorised by the bank and went through

its then today they say my was declined yet im still 3.99 out of pocket and i learn they tried to take too payments of 7.99 out of the bank

no ones answered their phones or emails

just checked my account as last few days has been saying processing now this morning have had no email at all which is a bit poor imho in the account itself says now dispatched i can only put this down to the amount of traffic/business it probabely had but it would have been nice if a bee rep could have come on this site like other companies do and see issues people have like not being able to change card details as one example so people can feel more secure about using the site they might find by doing that they might get more business normally as one thought.

A good point about a company rep coming on here but i also think given that MSE has highlighted this company's offer, they should be at least looking into it some way for us having problems.
Come on MSE, you cant plug the company then just ignore the fact people are having problems. You are clearly having dialogue with them re stock, so the least you could do is address these things and suggest they get someone on here to explain.
