I was wondering that! I read it twice because I thought I missed the point - then I realised that blue_monkey just wanted to have a moan! ;)
  • blue_monkey, people on HotUKDeals say they have got through to customer services and had support. I think some in this thread may have too.

They do have a PO box for returns according to the slip I got with my order. I'm not sure what they could do that would convince you though. I didn't have to return anything so I don't know if the PO Box exists. Their parent company could be phoned to ensure they're actually connected, but what else can we do?

It's a step in the dark, I accept, but for what I've seen I have no reason to mistrust this website. I wish they did have a way to remove ones credit card details from the site, but even with such feature you still need to trust that they're actually doing that.
  • Just realised from the address it's not that far from me leyland, lancashire. Sorry just a pointless post ha ha

  • I also can't see why items being out of stock is an indication they're fraudsters. Surely fraudsters would try offer something that's too good to be true? They wouldn't say an item's out of stock and not take an order for it. They wouldn't care whether you get it or not. Sure the £5 offer was good, but I don't see Bee.com offering any that's really too good to be true. Many items can't be ordered and they're quite expensive on a lot of items.

I could set up a company the same tonight - I could even tag a major retailer into the site too. By the time they found out I could have 1000 card numbers. What is more I could get an 0844 number and a PO box address tonight too. Oh, and the admin is a Bee email address, not a mbl address.

No, I am not saying that Bee is run by fraudsters, I am telling you how scammers operate and that some people steal stuff from their employers and then flog it on, if you are all too blind to want to see it them more for you.

But hey, you all seem oblivious to it and don't care less so as long as you are all happy with your 99p CD's and DVD's, that's the main thing I suppose. Well done on your bargains. I guess.
