I took the plunge and ordered the BBC TV series State Of Play for £1.99 after discount. Only saved me a couple of quid off the Amazon price but have been meaning to buy it for ages (after seeing the Russell Crowe film version) so happy with that.

I ordered a xmas dvd at 1.99 to put in the kids xmas eve hamper. Still showing as awaiting despatch but only ordered it yesterday morning so prob wont be despatched till tomorrow .... How are ppl managing to order more than 1 thing with the code as its 1 per household and when I try in partners name with his bank card it says order cancelled as code already been used, so how are ppl managing it?

missed this one (was after the winnie the Pooh dvd & pricess diaries for 99p). fortunately a few mins later managed to get a photo mug from photobox for the money I would have spent, so quite happy really. (down to my last few pennies until payday next week so couldnt have afforded both deals).
hope everyone else is managing to stretch their money well this xmas period

Just checked my account it says my order was declined. I have spent 30 mins on the phone to customer services explaning that i had an misleading email to say they are processing my order and then to find the following day the order has not been processed. I suggested because they are out of stock as a good will gesture the least they should do is to give priority when new stock comes in to the people with failed orders. They were unwilling to do this. so basically No customer service at all. I suggested they change to email to say we are currently processing your order and will confirm your order very shortly. :mad: I got the "we will take on board your feedback" standard answer which of course is no help to me

This is completely off topic I know-but just to say the British Tv version of State of Play is so much better than the movie-you will love it great drama.
