There's nothing wrong with you LT - you've now found someone you love and want to spend time with him - seems rational enough to me. It does seem unfair that he's being expected to work so many of them - are his colleagues in the same boat or is it just him that's got the raw deal?

Not a lot of consolation, but I have 9 days off at the end of the month and most of them without OH too! Not sure if I am :D or :( about this - time will tell (what I mean is, if the decorating goes wrong I won't be able to blame it on him!)

Secondly, I read and article yesterday that was really quite interesting - it was about how we all strive to be independant of the person we are in a relationship with, but actually being dependant on each other is much more rewarding and better for the relationship. So don't beat yourself up, you are not lame!! :o

I tried to be independent of my DH. I was totally dependent on him for years, even hated going shopping on my own so I went the other way. TOTALLY - didn't spend any time with him etc and it could have destroyed the relationship. Now I'm back to asking him to go with me, I now know I CAN do it on my own, but I don't really want to.

i used to think it was bizarre when friends didn't seem to be able to make a decision without getting approval from their OH. I don't go to that stage but do check what we have planned jointly before agreeing to most things.

    hi LT
What a pain about MR LT 's overtime. Is there someone you could have a girly day with or something so that you aren't on your own so much?

i've heard a rumour chev that i may be taken to Lakeside to have one of those fishy pedicures. Seems a long way but i'd really like one. The only problem is i'm squeaky skint and don't get paid until the 28th so don't really want a shopping trip
