LOL - had to smile at the mention of "New furniture" and "cats" next to one another - when we bought our sofa's we went all the way round Courts scratching at the fabric of anything we liked to see how it coped with it. Eventually an assistant came over to see what we were doing - as soon as he saw, he said "Oh, you've got a cat!" :rotfl: mercifully what we chose has been very good tempered and is still wearing well 8 years on!
Our parsley isn't really any further on, but we definately now have multiple Basils! We also have lots and LOTS of snowball turnips, some salad leaves, and some spring onions. The garlic would be doing better if next doors cat would stop sitting on it. Bless him though, he's 18 and rather deaf so I just pick him up and gently move him.
Windows were open here all weekend too - it's the one time when I really regret living in a ground floor flat - you absolutely can't leave windows open at all when you're out, can you!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

i have to admit that i always leave my windows open. Ok now they have locks on them but before i just left them open anyway. But then we had small windows that only a child could get through.
i really must get outside and water everything in the green house and we still need to do lots of digging. wish Pippi would visit she loves to dig lol
our parsley has definitely made it to parsley heaven but thankfully the basil is going strong. the chives have just not even bothered to get out of their bed!0 -

oh don't worry if any have dissappeared it's literally just the one, please don't worry about it. Wouldn't mind getting you in the post though as there's loads of work to be done here at the moment.
why are prescriptions so expensive? had to get another one today, hopefully it will work and provide a bit of respite and mean i get some energy back for a little while. Lots of blood tests on the horizon again though, but the first they could fit them in was May 10th, good job they're just checking me for anemia and clotting abilities isn't it? nothing life threatening!0 -
Golly that is ages and just for a blood test?! Surely it doesn't take long!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

oh i could go to the hospital, pay about £3 to park and spend about 3-4 hours sat in a queue to have them taken but i can't have time off at work at the moment so it's not really an option. Gonna have to wait, but i'm sure i actually have a meeting that day at work so may have to move it anyway, depends on the meeting.0

Oh I see, def worth waiting for less stress!

i did make sure i got a repeat prescription before the prices went up, i guess i should have seen the dr at the same time but i hate going and tried to put it off. Does seem like an excessive time for blood tests but it's about typical for my surgery. they also have a really good booking system but i'll not get started on that today.
Mr LT came home with his time sheet to the beginning of may this morning. You know all those bank holidays coming up??? well the only one he's not working is Good Friday, he's even working both easter sat and sunday! they're really taking the mick! I'd hoped we could get some time together to do nice things or at the worst start the redecorating that we need to do. Guess i'll be starting that on my own then.0
