thanks Pippi, you're forgiven you've been working really hard on your patchwork lifestyle and it will take a lot out of you.

just checked up on all my accounts today and they're nicely afloat at the moment.
Had a moment of inspiration yesterday which was put into action today.
When i remortgaged my payment date moved to the 28th, which happens to be my pay day. I had a debate on here and i ended up deciding that the payment made on, for example, Feb 28th would be from Jan 28ths salary not Febs in case anything ever happened and my pay didn't arrive on time. This means that my mortgage payment sits in the account for a full month, this wasn't too bad whilst my current account qualified for interest but now it doesn't. So i've decided i will move it across to a savings account temporarily and then move it back in time for the payment. i've been doing that with my credit card money for ages, heaven only knows why i never thought about this for the mortgage money before. It may only get me pennies worth of interest but it's better in my account than in theirs!0 -
That's a really good idea LT

managed to get to the allotment today. Mr LT dug over a lovely large bed for me and i went to help plant lots of garlic and onions, still have a fair few onions to plant up but they're back in the greenhouse to strengthen up and give us time to dig over another bed. Lovely to see green shoots other than weeds up there. Forgot to take the camera so will try and get up there in the week to get photographic evidence of all his hard work.0

Woo hoo to allotments generally - and yours particularly LT! Some of my efforts are finally showing green - MrEH announced last night that we have "A parsley" - he's right, at the moment, it's just one, however 'm hoping this lovely weather brings the rest out of hiding! We also have a Basil but I think there is plenty of hope for more of those as they've been slow in the past. the parsley seeds I was a bit worried about though as they are about 10 years out of date! :rotfl:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

my parsley has grown quite nicely and then suddenly it's just karked it. Hope you have much better luck that us. don't even go there with the chives once again they've not bothered to stick their heads up so that whole packet was a waste of money.
Looks like the trees we bought a few weeks ago are budding up so we really must get them in the ground at the lottie. I think that the thornless blackberry may have even forgiven me and may be starting to stick out some new leaves, but i'm still holding my breath0 -
oh Pippi, my strawberries seem to have grown a little, i may have one which as taken a wonder to the next life but i'm sure the rest have all gotten a bit stronger and seem happy0

just thought i'd catch up after the weekend. Hope everyone had a lovely time.
Ours was pretty expensive as we bought some new furniture. This does now mean we have to retrain the cats otherwise they will be moving out as the new furniture moves in!
Weekend also involved lots of washing getting dry yay, and lots of spring cleaning. Still loads to do but have deep cleaned two rooms which feels great. Also had doors and windows open to blow away the damp, smells, cobwebs & mould. Would like to get the living room redecorated before the furniture moves in so that's probably on the cards for easter when i'm planning to do some mega de cluttering. i've started counting the days to payday for some reason thought it was going to be a few days early because of bank holidays etc but i was muddled going to have to wait until the 28th
