Mr LT has made mini banana loaves, and coffee cake.
saga at work is two booked a weeks leave - ok
one booked two days off then changed them - still ok, although will remember their inflexibility when they next ask for last minute leave.
other one decides they absolutely must attend the funeral of their sisters FIL???? not sure why they felt that need as they're not related in the slightest but hey ho that's the way it is. couldn't really be the evil boss and say no.
I have enjoyed the peace and quiet though, only wish i hadn't had it ruined by the headache from hell
blood test not till May

Mr LT was full after dinner so we're having to wait
need to give him other lessons as well, such as: don't play tinny music on your computer when you're other half has a stonking headache, and most importantly DON'T whistle along whilst the music is playing!0 -
No I can't imagine the whistling is helping much!
Is he on nights again tonight?
I hate being away from my new b/f anything longer than 2 nights makes me a miserable cow! This is my 3rd night and feel fed up!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

no he's home tonight, tomorrow he's on his last night shifty hallelujah!!!!! I do sleep but not very well when he's not there. I hated it when we first met, we would only see each other on average alternate weekends. Do feel that we had more quality times though as we made an effort whilst now we're married you just go to work, come home, watch tv and go to bed, we don't often go on a date as we're skintus.0

I wish I could see him every other night, that would be the perfect balance for a few months at least! He lives 45 mins from me so can't just pop round for 5 mins, it does mean we make the most of our time together though

Sounds like you need a massage as well as a cake!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

i need many things including a massage

getting sorted for the long weekends aheads which i'll mostly be spending on my own, i've decided to write down the things i really need to get done. i lurve to do lists but unless i publish it for all to see i keep ignoring things from the list.
so the critical things are.......
1. write letter to neighbour upstairs threatening legal action if they don't repair or arrange the repair of the guttering/ boards etc by the end of May
2. write letter to all three neighbours threatening to take further action if they a/ don't get quotes for the repair of the porch and share them around by the end of May and b/ action isn't taken to arrange the replacement of the porch by the end of June.
3. investigate and change phone and broadband supply
4. cancel HD on sky and 'threaten' to remove other packages/everything entirely to see what they may offer.
5. take leccy reading, update spreadsheet and enter online
6. paint hallway (already have the paint)
7. paint the bathroom (already have the paint)
8. pot on seedlings in greenhouse
9. plant trees and big plants at allotment
10.dig 2 more beds at the allotment and plant spuds and other veggies.
lots of big things on the list which won't take much time but have been hanging over my head for a long time, and others that will take a lot of hard work.
now i've written it all down i must get it done.
please don't think i'm being nasty and mean to my neighbours but the people upstairs have been promising to do the repairs for a couple of years now, and the porch issue has been going on for much longer.
I'm at the end of my tether and this is the year in which i fight these issues and get it sorted because in this lousy property market the state of the other bits is dropping the price by roughly an additional £15k which is a heck of a lot of money for a flat.0 -
