thanks Charlie, thought we all needed a smile.
we have LOADS of ducks around this town and i think it's lovely that all the traffic stop for them when they're leading their families across the roads.

well i guess i really must get back to this money saving lark.

I feel completely out of control financially and that's because i've been sulking. My old Quicken programme which i used to track my finances doesn't seem to like my new computer :( so i've been trying to find a way around it. I bought another programme to try over the weekend but i just don't like it so i'm going to bite the bullet and set myself up an excel spreadsheet, you can't go wrong with them. And i use them constantly at work so i don't know why i was sulking about it.

Tonight Mr LT and i have to go through the books that the builder/bathroom person left with us and sort out what we want in our new bathroom so that they can give us a quote properly. We've had one or two scary quotes so far so fingers crossed this is more realistic. I really want/need my new bathroom so being useless is only holding me back.

other jobs that i wan't to get sorted tonight:
move the filing cabinet upstairs and start putting stuff away
clear one work surface in the craft room
    check all the bank accounts
get weighed ready for tomorrow's call from hospital

i really must start getting motivated and organised.

Hope you're ok LT. I can't believe you've been in your house a month, I still have a box to send you....sorry. As you know my head has been elsewhere.
