nothing much really, Mr LT is working today and tomorrow so we're not going out - the only place we would be likely to go is my sisters anyway but we'll just have a quiet night in, may not even stay up to see the new year in. To be truth it's never been a big deal for me so i've never gone out celebrating much. Being teetotal can be a bit lack lustre sometimes. Sounds like you have a lovely evening planned.
  • Just chilling...nothing excessive but a relaxed eve with good friend...I dont normally do anything nye as truth be known quite like it as an eve for me to reflect on the year just gone but friend didnt want to be alone so suggested a pj party! That way she has company and I get to stay in my pjs!

glad to see you home safe Pippi.

Hope everyone had good new years days, mine ended up in agony again with the bloomin' gallbladder, was awake until 4am this morning and ended up taking the codine tablets i've been trying not to take. I think they knocked me out which i'm glad for as i couldn't seem to get any respite. Been feeling a bit bleugh all day but tried to keep going glad i didn't have to go to work though i'm not sure i would have made it.

We did manage to get the rest of the fitted wardrobe boxed up and sorted, so far we have:
    2 boxes for charity
2 boxes for the craft club at my nieces school
1 boxed for their village ebay type site
    2 bags of rubbish
    2 bags of recycling.
and lots more to go. feels good to have made a start and to have achieved something, but still lots more left to do.
