MrsChaos - Amazon? Is he old enough to settle for an 'IOU'?

Today I want to tidy up outside, may not get the chance again pre-visitors. Must clean the chickens out too, and sort the wood store before our delivery later. The cold weather means we have used nearly all of our winter supply months early, and the log man tells me that our load is the last of his dry stock .

    Happy Birthday Onestep

and huge bags of sympathy for Valli, I would be upset and angry too. He is old enough to take some responsibility for his actions.

Stew now in sc, kids fed and suppose to be getting changed. I'm grabbing a cuppa before i start. :D

Plan to start at one side of house and work my way round, bedrooms, bathroom and landing first then i can hoover right through. Should have the house ship shape in no time. :)

MrsChaos what about Domestic appliance center? We've got most of our stuff from there and it's not a bad price and there easy to deal with if anything goes wrong.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Thanks for the tips, Hex, Julie and Vanilla. I've tried amazon and DS2 is only 6, so an IOU would be the last resort. Never thought about Sainsbugs, as we don't have a store locally anymore. It's about £20 more than I'd hoped to spend, but an option. Just going to google the domestic appliance centre now.

    Sunshine has gone Bah!

The vocality of the hen was the "egg song" and number 4 arrived after about half an hour. Have just decluttered egg number 1 by poaching it and popping it on a piece of hot buttered toast. Yum!

I think I'll start bottoming out the kitchen now.

    DONE!

Just deciding what to do next - need to nip to the PO to post some returns then wait in for the Virgin Media man to repair the TV box this afternoon so plenty of time to tackle another room or 2

  • The jenagain household has been hit by a tummy bug for the past 2 days so zero flying and boy does it show. Feeling a bit better today so I need to get a move on! Ex's parents will be here to pick up DS at 12ish so I'm going to start with some bombsite clearance in the living room and hall. Kitchen is fine as no one has been in there!

Will catch up properly later but hugs etc to those who need them xxxx
