    Hello :)

MrsChaos - toysrus, asda, pcworld sometimes
AnWsMum - we've had some action since similar complaints but we had snow about 3/4 days earlier I think. I'm doing bambi impressions every morning, not good

Sorry not been around, I keep popping in, reading then think I must do something as you all put me to shame & I don't end up replying.

Safe to say ALL the paperwork is sorted now for 2010 apart from what comes through the post box, old OU stuff sorted, 2 cupboards sorted, I'm getting there. Unsure if it's unrealistic to expect the boys to help do the toy room they want sorting after the 19th when they finish school but right now I'd prefer to do what I can't when they are here. Which includes shopping for them some gifts. They're only out 12.30-3 today as DS1 has been 'creating' at their social group so I'm not letting them stay for lunch.

Right, time to get a wriggle on, think I'll do some of the kitchen
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

MrsChaos DAC is really good for haggling if you have one near you. They have !!!!!! all on there website.

Kids bedroom's look fantastic, just need to clean windows, dust and hoover but considering what the bedrooms were like to start with the kids have worked really hard. They're having a break now for 10 minutes and then it's the bathroom and hall. :D

    The stew smells divine........yum.....yum.....yum
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Afternoon all, got a party to attend later so just slowcooking my pulled pork for butties for later. Went down a storm last time.

Made my own barbecue sauce and spice rub for the pork, house smells lovely.

Hubby has left to help set up so I'll join him later.
Need to get a tyre replaced on our van as it has a slow puncture.
Off to get a coffee and a sandwich and think about doing some washing.

Triker, I always mean to ask you which recipe you use?

I have a huge pork shoulder ready to make sausages later, my first lot of skins arrived a few days ago. I have made sausage meat but this will be the first attempt at the real thing. Hope it works as I am planning on Toad in the Hole for dinner. Also planning on making a big batch of truffles, most of which will be frozen for Christmas.

Bathroom, hall and livingroom decluttered. Plant sorted in hall, it got a haircut.:rotfl:

Dirty clothes all put into piles in the livingroom for now. All shoes and wellies sorted in front hall. Dw nearly finished so i'll empty and reload, then i'll keep going in the kitchen. Gonna get the clean clothes off horse and rads and get them put away. :D

Loosley based on this recipe, http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/barbecued-pulled-pork-sandwiches-with-homemade-bbq-sauce-cole-slaw-and-fried-pickles-recipe/index.html

but I find that soaking the pork periodically in a spice/vinegar mix with some chilli's in give it some background heat without it being too overpowering.

My spice rub consists of garlic powder, pepper, salt, smoked paprika and dried onions.

HELP ... I need motivation from you all.. - my house is a tip and desperately needs resurrecting. Although I am sure it is just surface stuff as keeping on top of flying the past few weeks has made it easier. But for some reason last week I l lost my wings..lol. Toots, thank you so much for your pm - I am still here, somewhere..lol. But DH has been off now for a week with a holiday, and then coming home early, or not going in at all, during the snow has totally thrown me a fruit loop :o

He is off out playing with his choochoos at the moment and I have just spent the morning finishing off the last of my Xmas shopping etc. Am now sitting here amongst chaos having a cup of tea..and wondering where to start.. Although I am considering sticking it all in a box and shoving it away in the spare room..lol

Have picked up the cards, that decided to visit the sorting office, plus bought the polythene bags to send them all in.

Can anyone give me a boot up the derrier, and if anyone fancies doing several HHC's with me then I would welcome the motivation.

Will read the previous posts when I have sorted myself out and my house is back in order again..lol

Natty - similar problems here, sat surrounded by mess. More than happy to join you for HHC's. I need to finish the play room today, at the moment half the stuff is in my Living room, and making that that look ten times worse.

Back to basics like me I guess - baby steps, move the big stuff first, don't shift more than you can actually out away in one session. Maybe do half an hour on each room?

ETA - there are now 12 complete sets of 24 hours in which to finish off everything for your challenge. Maybe do a Natty '12 days of Christmas Cleaning?' and break it down to everything you need to do by then, and give yourself small rewards for finishing each one. Break in a new yankee candle or something? Actually I might do that myself instead of flap and panic.

Aaah a partner to do HHC's with :) Shall we start at 1.30pm, gives me time to eat a couple of left over chicken legs for lunch..lol

I can also write my list, although I know what I want to do in my head but putting it down is escaping me. Not a problem I have with normally..lol.

I'm on FB at the moment too, I can log on if you want to go through that as well as here :)
